One Size Fits All

Early Childhood Education is fundamental and lays the foundation for a student’s academic career.  If students don’t get it then they will more than likely be behind and stay behind.  Past studies concluded that students should be able to read by the third grade and reading to learn by the fourth or fifth grade. The problem is this one size fits all conclusion just is not accurate. Instead of teaching from a one size fits all approach how about teaching the individual, based on their learning styles, and strengths.  This approach is unconventional and would require an overhaul of how educators look at teaching classes but the end result would be successful, confident, and educated individuals.

The following article touches on this topic and it is interesting and is worth reading. When it comes to your children are they a one size fits all or are they individuals.

 Beware of education…

  2. This is great. Every child doesn't learn at the same pace. And I agree, it's a must that we start early! The future is in the children.
